Preferences stored in your browser
If you choose a light or dark theme, the website remembers your choice in your browser’s local storage (under the name “af-theme”). This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is removed when you clear your browser data.
Website statistics
Our website statistics, when enabled, do not use cookies or other identifiers. They count page views in aggregate and respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Contact form protection
If bot protection is enabled on the contact form, it is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may use technologies strictly necessary to distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes this processing.
Administration area
The private administration area, used only by authorised Appsfield staff, relies on the browser storage required by our authentication provider (Google Firebase) to keep administrators signed in.
Managing browser storage
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The website continues to work; only your theme choice will not be remembered.
Changes
If we ever use cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
